Director of Student Development, Niagara County Community College
Allison E. Armusewicz, Director of Student Development, has worked for Niagara County Community College (NCCC) for the past 10 years. Student Development provides retention services including academic counseling and intrusive advisement for at-risk students. The department is also a one-stop center that includes Accessibility, Advisement, Career, and Transfer Services, in addition to the campus Testing Center. Armusewicz also oversees the Mapping Opportunities for Moms (MOMS) program at NCCC, an education-to-employment initiative for low-income single mothers. The MOMS program is a joint 3-year initiative between the WNY Women’s Foundation and NCCC. Armusewicz has a BS from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York, and an MS from Buffalo State College in Buffalo, New York. She has worked in Higher Education Administration for 20 years and has held a number of positions including Admissions Advisor, Advisement Counselor, and Registrar before joining NCCC in 2006.
