Public Policy Day: On Wednesday, April 18, participants will travel to Capitol Hill for Public Policy Day. During the morning, we will hear from leaders from Congress and the Administration, as well as policy advocates, about legislation and policies related to access, equity, and diversity in education and the workplace. During the afternoon, participants will visit with their members of Congress. NAPE provides an Advocacy Toolkit and relevant materials to assist you in making connections and discussing issues with members of Congress, which is an effective way to influence outcomes. Social Events: You are invited to attend a welcome reception Monday night, an awards luncheon and an evening reception with live entertainment and a fun silent auction on Tuesday.
