March 10, 2020

NAPE is committed to providing an exceptional experience for attendees at this year’s National Summit for Educational Equity. We are actively monitoring the information put forth from the Centers for Disease Control and other national outlets, including the city of Arlington, Virginia, and our hotel partner.

At this time, no federal restrictions are in place to prevent meetings and travel within the United States, including in the D.C. area.

NAPE leadership, including the Executive Committees of NAPE and the NAPE Education Foundation Board of Directors, have made the decision to move forward with the Summit as planned from April 19-23, 2020. We believe that the conference can safely proceed as planned, with the well-being of our participants and staff being our top priority. We look forward to seeing you in Crystal City; your optimism — and belief that our work together is a part of the more systemic solution to this and other challenges — is inspiring.
