Since 2011, the Perkins-funded Equity in CTE Project has used NAPE’s STEM Equity Pipeline suite of programs to train more than 20 teams from institutions who had struggled to meet their Perkins accountability targets for nontraditional participation/completion. Ohio ACTE has been utilized for conference sessions/workshops focused on sharing effective practices, and workbooks for educators and students/parents have been created to expand their understanding of opportunities through construction pathways, including pre-apprenticeship models, in Ohio.
